Grip Hooks: Dry Fly, Wet, Nymph, Emerger, Caddis
By A Mystery Man Writer
Description
Mustad C49SAP Heritage TitanX Caddis Fly Hooks (previously C49SNP) are 1X short shank straight eye fly tying hooks. The hook style avails itself to tying caddisfly patterns, such as Klinkhammer style emergers, freshwater shrimps, and Gammarus/scud patterns. Mustad Heritage series fly hooks feature a gun-metal matte finish in TitanX, a 50% more rust-resistant coating than those used on prior Mustad fly hooks. TitanX is said to produce a smoother finish to aid hook setting.
