The Garmin GMR 18 HD3 is an 18-inch 4-kilowatt high-definition radar with a 36 nm range. It comes with Dynamic Auto Gain that automatically adjusts levels to optimum settings and the Dynamic Sea Filter radar gain automatically adjusts sea clutter for calm medium and rough sea conditions. The dual radar provides redundancy and allows each display unit on the boat to pull data from one of two different radar sources.
